Week 3 is in the books

Today was spent not working out, just hanging out with the boys, getting a haircut, and trying to eat right.  Since I’m writing this post, that means that I finished another week, and I’m finally caught up with the blogging.  Tomorrow, I promise to give you the entertaining writing that you’re used to.  Okay, let’s just say the mildly entertaining writing that you may or may not be used to, how’s that?

Breakfast

  • 2 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup coffee
  • 1 clementine

Lunch

  • 1 bratwurst
  • baked beans
  • water

Snack

  • 1/4 cup almonds
  • Coke Zero

Dinner

  • turkey burger with cheese, no bun
  • broccoli
  • wild rice
  • 1 clementine

Snack

  • 1 low-carb, high-protein yogurt
  • water

  2. I’ll be posting my actual numbers later tonight, but they aren’t as spectacular as I wished. I’m hoping that my minimal weight loss is because of muscle gain, and not because this eating right/exercising thing just isn’t working. I’m sure it is working, but I do wish I was seeing things move along a bit quicker.

    Then again, it’s only been three weeks, and I let myself become doughy for a very long time. :-) Yes, I said doughy.
